Branson U.S.A. is new for 1999. Owners Bob and Sharon Wehr are preparing for the May 1999 opening. Branson U.S.A. will have 20 rides, 17 shops, five eateries and a theater. May 13 will be Branson U.S.A.'s soft opening. The park will use 40 acres of the 112 acres (previously Mutton Hollow Park.). Tentative plans for the rest are some buildings on the perimeter. But that is in the future. Right now everything is geared to the Park and the May opening.
The park has its own Ferris Wheel. It's a 92-foot Italian gondola style Ferris Wheel. The gondolas each hold six passengers. The wheel has almost 6,000 lights which flash in different patterns. A beautiful sight against the night sky.
