Over 2,000 classy, customized, restored and hot rodded vehicles as they
converge on Branson, Missouri. Cruisin' down the Branson Strip during the

17 Aug - 14th Annual Oldtime Fiddle Contest. Taneycomo Lakefront, Downtown Branson. The 15th Annual Oldtime Fiddle Contest. Held on the Taneycomo Lakefront. Playoffs begin at 10:00 a.m. Final rounds at 6:30 p.m. Fiddlers from all over the United States compete for more than $3,500 in cash and trophies. of Lights. The Branson Area celebrates
Christmas with holiday-themed shows, special Christmas events, great shopping
values, and spectacular lighting displays.
4-11 Nov - Veteran's Homecoming.
America's Largest Veterans Day Celebration, this seven day tribute honors

9 Nov - Paralyzed Veterans Of America (PVA)
Walk, Run, Roll & Remember. North
Beach Park in historic downtown Branson at 9:00 AM.
11 Nov - 68th Annual Veterans' Day Parade
& Ceremony. Parade begins at 11 a.m.
with a ceremony honoring veterans in historic downtown Branson. Sponsored
by local veterans' organizations.
December 2002
1 Dec - 54th Annual Adoration Parade &
Lighting Ceremony. Historic downtown Branson.
Festive night-time parade and Adoration creche lighting ceremony starting
at 5:30 PM. Over 70 marching units and floats, decorated in lights and
holiday themes.
7 Dec - National Pearl Harbor Remembrance
Day. A special ceremony will commemorate
"The day that will live in infamy." Contact: Branson Veterans Task Force

Lawrence Welk Champagne Theatre. Spring in the Ozarks and the quasi start
of the Branson theatre Season with a five-day showcase event. Features

A Memorial Day Tribute. Special tributes in remembrance of those whom we

27 May - National Moment of Remembrance.
Veterans Park at Branson City Hall at 3:00 PM. Branson remembers and honors
America's Veterans as a template city in the National Moment of Remembrance.
Join the City of Branson and the Veterans Task Force as we lead the nation
in honoring those true American heroes that gave their lives for our freedom.

14 June - Flag Day.
American Legion Post 220 will conduct it's annual Flag Day Services on
June 14 at the Post pavilion at 12 noon. All unserviceable flags will be
retired with full Honors. The National Flag Foundation will hold a ceremony

July 2003
1-4 July - Spirit of '76.
An old fashioned 4th of July Independence Day Celebration with food, music
and fireworks saluting America's freedom. Branson Veterans Task Force -

18 July - Branson 2000 T-Bucket Run.
Various Locations in Branson, MO. A T-bucket
is a highly modified and modernized Model T. Over 100 of them are expected
to appear for "the run" which will include special shows and a parade down
76 Country Boulevard.
