The Thomas and Mack Center is located on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) campus east of the Las Vegas Strip and just 1/2 mile from McCarran Airport at the corner of Tropicana and Paradise.
The facility is named after two prominent Nevada bankers: E. Parry Thomas and Jerome Mack. They donated the original funds for the feasibility and land studies. The Gala Grand Opening was held on December 16, 1983 and featured Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Diana Ross. For more facts see the UNLV Thomas & Mack Center Fast Facts.
Maximum seating is approximately 19,000 but varies depending upon how it is configured for a particular event.
