    General 
    Comments    		 . "City of Angels", the movie, is about a guardian angel, Seth, who falls in love with a woman, Maggie. Actually they fall in love with each other. But can angels do that? 

    Angels are suppose to spend their time roaming Earth, listening to people's thoughts, comforting those in need.  But never to interfere in their fates. Here we have an angel that yearns for everyday mortal experiences ... and to fall in love. 

    And as for Dr. Maggie Rice, does she believe in angels? Not initially, but Seth is very convincing. 

    Nicolas plays a wonderful loving angel. It is no wonder that Meg falls for him and the two heat up the screen against the wonderful scenic backdrop of the high Sierras at Lake Tahoe. Both Nicolas and Meg are at their best. 

    Shot in LAX's old control tower, high above LA, San Francisco (library) and Lake Tahoe. You have never seen LA this heavenly. 

    Loosely based on the 1987 "Wings of Desire" ("Der Himmel über Berlin") directed by Wim Wender. 

    Box Office 29-31 May - Started off number 1 and now after 52 days in release it is still going strong at number 11. Last week it was number 8. Total domestic gross box office to date is $72.8 million. 

    Soundtrack - Artists include U2, Alanis Morissette, Peter Gabriel, Sarah McLachlan, Paula Cole and the Goo Goo Dolls.
