In "Down in the Delta", an emotional movie about a single mother,
Loretta, who is going down the path of drugs and alcohol. She lives with
her mother and two children in a Chicago apartment. Loretta's mother, Rosa
Lynn, decides to try and save the family. She pawns her most prized family
heirloom, a silver candelabra, and moves the family back to their
ancestral home down in the Mississippi delta.
