    Comments    		 . "The 13th Warrior", the movie, is based on the book Eaters of the Day by Michael Crichton. 

    In A.D. 922, Ibn Fadlan meets up with Buliwyf and they are summoned to the North to save the Viking King's countrymen and family from the monsters of the mist. There Buliwyf is locked in moral combat with the monsters that come under the cover of night to devour ones flesh. 

    Michael Crichton also authored The Andromeda Strain, Airframe, Congo, Jurassic Park, Disclosure, and Sphere (Sphere the movie) as well as others.
