    Comments    		 . The sliding doors here belong to a London subway train and their closing will determine the future of Helen (Gwyneth Paltrow). 

    Leaving her PR job mid day after being fired, Helen rushes home. Lover Jerry is waiting at home. On the train is James. The story shows both paths: making it aboard and left standing on the platform. A contemporary love story complete with a happy ending. 

    Filmed in London. 

    Sliding Doors was the opening night film at the 1998 Sundance Film Festival in Park City UT. Shown on Thursday and Friday 15-16 January 1998.
