    Comments    		 . Based on the novel by Michael Crichton who also wrote "Jurassic Park" and "Disclosure". A spaceship over 400 years old is found 1000 feet below on the bottom of the sea in the South Pacific. Four scientists are rushed to the location to investigate the spaceship. Was this spacecraft really from the future and somehow time traveled through a black hole? They try to open the strange sphere which at first is a difficult and trying task. Communications with the alien object is achieved. What are the real intentions of the spacecraft? And what is happening to the scientists? What is the extraordinary power of the Sphere? 

    Michael Crichton has also written "The Andromeda Strain", "Congo", "Rising Sun", "Terminal Man", "Great Train Robbery", "Disclosure" and "Eaters of the Dead" (Eaters of the Dead, the movie) as well as others.
