Brad Pitt grew up in Springfield, Missouri, made good grades in school
and participated in choir and theater. Brad also enjoyed sports such as
tennis and baseball. Brad Pitt's great love though was always the movies.
At the University of Missouri Brad majored in journalism and advertising,
but in Brad's senior year he quit and headed to California to catch a dream.
Brad Pitt didn't become a star overnight, Brad had many odd jobs along
the way. Anyone remember the big chicken standing outside El Pollo Loco?
Brad Pitt started into the business as an extra in movies and was cast
in a few TV shows, "Dallas" was one. Brad Pitt finally made it when
he was cast as "J.D." in "Thelma & Louise".
People Magazine announced that Brad Pitt was "The Sexiest Man Alive"
after his romantic leading role in "Legends of the Fall". Brad's
first critical acclaim combined with an Oscar nomination came with his
role as a mental patient in "12 Monkeys". Brad Pitt got a thumbs
up for his performance in "The Devil's Own" and some thought his
portrayal of Austrian journeyer Heinrich Harrar in "Seven Years In Tibet"
his best to date.
