Background - Jimmy was born and raised in Oklahoma.  He attended Oklahoma State University, was in the choir, and was a member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity.  He moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career.

TV Series - After a number of small parts in TV movies, Jimmy was cast as the older brother, Ricky, on the short lived series, "Second Noah". Jimmy did his own singing on the show.  Jimmy also played the role of Griffin on Party of Five.

Breakthrough Role - As one of the three main characters in "Disturbing Behavior", Marsden's big screen future is solidified.

"The Castle" - ABC TV Series to be aired in the fall of 1998.  A period piece, it's about two feuding families in the 13th century.  Marsden will play the Lord's handsome young heir.
