in his youth and he is now one of America's most highly praised and admired
actors, directors and producers.
Background - Grew up in the LA area. Lived a bohemian life
in Europe. Attended the University of Colorado, Pratt Institute of
Art, American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Breakthrough Role - Redford played the Sundance Kid to Paul Newman's
Butch Cassidy in the box office hit, "Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid"
Milestones

Established the Sundance Institute for aspiring filmmakers, home of the
annual Sundance Film Festival.
