Ginger is out - So the latest news on Sunday 31 May, after days of rumors, it is suppose to be offiical. The redhead Ginger Spice is no longer going to be with the band. So you will not see her in the 40 show north american tour starting soon. More details as I get them.

Background - Growing up the youngest of five children, Geri had boundless energy and loved to sing and dance. She took years of dance lessons which eventually led her to a summer job dancing in a nightclub in Majorca. This was just a stepping stone in her plan to be rich and famous. She had ambitions to be a model, but she just wasn't tall enough. She continued working on her dancing and kept to a strenuous exercise schedule to keep in shape. 

In April, 1994 she saw an ad in a trade magazine, "Stage". It asked for women 18-23 who could sing and dance and were ambitious. That seemed to fit Geri to a tee. She applied, with over 400 other women, and the rest is Spice history. Geraldine is the push behind the group, the one with the business savvy. She had a hand in the decision to hire a new manager after the group was formed. This led to their record contract and rocketing stardom.
